Rules

These rules exist to create a space where it isn’t scary to step into vulnerability — to open up about what you sometimes have no one to discuss at work, or conflicts in life.

  1. Confidentiality. What’s said in the room stays in the room. No names or stories go outside. Only a group photo, if you want one.
  2. You come intending to work actively. You choose how deep you go into your work. Most of the time is practice, not listening.
  3. If you’re ready — bring your case. A concrete situation — a conflict, a dead end, something you ran into yourself, something that worries you. We’ll work through it so you come away seeing what other ways of acting are available.
  4. You’ll get the truth, directly. Honestly, without cruelty. If you don’t want that right now, this isn’t your room yet.
  5. Phones away. Be in the room.
  6. The host holds safety. The host protects the room gently but firmly — and will remove anyone who breaks safety. That protection is their job, not hostility.

Break confidentiality or safety, and you leave. No exceptions.

How the rules change

The rules aren’t sacred — but they aren’t rewritten in the middle of a meeting.

See a conflict or a flaw in a rule? Raise it between meetings: a message to the host or an issue in the repository. We review and revise consciously, not in the heat of a breakdown. Openness to feedback here is real; turning the hot seat into a debate about the rules is not.
